			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vorsteiner has released a new tuning program for BMW E92 E93 M3, called GTS-V kit that includes a range of external accessories developed to maximize performance and circuit racing skills.</p>
<p>These accessories complement the original lines of the M3 Coupe and Cabriolet versions, and include a spoiler add-on with a new design and new air vents for the brakes and a new carbon fiber diffuser, plus a lime green color graphics kit , gray glossy black and matte silver.</p>
<p>In addition to these new enhancements to Vorsteiner BMW M3 GTS-V, the tuner in the U.S. has created a special range of shirts, GTS-V design and 3D badges Vorsteiner created in collaboration with Attic.</p>

<p>From this autumn, BMW customers will enjoy the new 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder that will be present on both 5 Series sedan and on Touring version. The new engine comes in two variants of power. The first of these will be present on 520i and produces 184 hp and 270 Nm, while the second one we found on 528i and delivers 245 hp and 350 Nm.</p>
<p>520i sedan will sprint from 0-100 km / h in 7.9 seconds with manual transmission version, and for those who will choose an automatic gearbox, acceleration time will be longer by 0.1 seconds. The Touring version, 520i will accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 8.3 seconds and top speed is 220 km / h. Regarding consumption, the amounts somewhere between 6.8 and 7.0 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions will be between 157 and 163 g / km.</p>
<p>In the case of the second version of the new engine power 2.0-liter sedan will sprint from 0-100 km / h in 6.2 seconds and the break will be slower by 0.2 seconds. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>With the arrival of the all-new CT 200h premium hybrid compact in  showrooms later this month, Lexus introduces a vehicle that breaks the  mold of conventional hybrids. It delivers what many thought was  impossible—a hybrid with sporty, sexy styling, dynamic handling, best in  class mileage and all the luxury of a Lexus. </strong></p>
<p><strong>To launch the CT, Lexus is embarking on one of the largest  marketing campaigns in the brand’s history. The multi-faceted campaign,  which broke on March 1, features pioneering computer-generated (CG)  creative and unconventional media executions.</strong></p>
<p>“This campaign had to convey the CT’s uncompromising  personality and reach both current Lexus owners and new consumers  through bold and engaging initiatives that hit their passion points,”  said Dave Nordstrom, vice president of marketing for Lexus. “The result  is a campaign that reflects the car itself – it’s energetic, passionate  and very dynamic.”</p>
<h4>Escape. Challenge. Forge. Details.</h4>
<p>The broadcast campaign includes four television  commercials that demonstrate the “darker side of green” of the CT, a  hybrid with aggressive styling and dynamic handling. Three of the spots  make use of photo-real computer generated images with only the interior  shots being live action.</p>

<p>The first spot, “Escape,” expresses the desire to  free yourself from the confines of someone else’s reality. In a starkly  black and white graphic world, a Matador Red CT races through the  streets in a hyperkinetic chase scene, intercut with images of the  vehicle’s interior. The spot culminates as the CT approaches a brick  wall on a dead end street. Instead of slowing down, the driver speeds up  and smashes through the wall into a world of color. The voiceover  reads, “Escape convention. Escape definition. Escape compromise… Welcome  to the darker side of green.”</p>
<p>The second commercial, “Challenge,” lets the viewer discover that  reality is what you make of it. The spot takes place in a surreal urban  environment. The roads, sidewalks and buildings subtly shift  perspective, as the CT aggressively maneuvers through the scene. As the  roads shift, the CT navigates the changing terrain as it races to the  escape route.</p>
<p>Spot number three, “Forge,” was originally created  for the African American market, but will also run in general rotation.  In this ad, Lexus took a different approach to showcasing the vehicle. A  squadron of CTs is seen forging its own road, traveling toward a wall  of skyscrapers. Roads open and obstacles vanish as the CTs gain full  access to what seems like an impenetrable city. Actor and best-selling  author Hill Harper appears in the spot and provides the  voiceover—declaring the CT is, “Just what you need to forge your own  path.”</p>

Featuring a glowing red CT as it  nimbly handles  the curves of the road in a vibrant night time cityscape, this spot was  developed in both Spanish and English and will run in select areas.</p>
<h4>New Car, New Media Executions</h4>
<p>The CT is unlike any vehicle Lexus has ever launched. The marketing campaign’s media extensions were designed to follow suit.</p>
<p>In addition to traditional elements, Lexus has  entered into several unique partnerships, including an alignment with  YouTube to sponsor “Girl Walks Into a Bar,” the world’s first feature  film developed exclusively for online distribution. The automaker has  also joined forces with Microsoft to develop a custom branded  entertainment series entitled, “Fresh Perspectives.” The documentary  style series features six artists, each commissioned to create three  original pieces of work within 24 hours and inspired by the themes of  Enrich, Escape and Empower.</p>
<p>The campaign also includes sole sponsorship of USA Network&#8217;s  Characters Film Series, premier sponsor of the MOG @ SXSW 2011 event,  and a Lexus X Monocle custom CT keepsake insert.</p>

Lexus  will also deploy social media strategies in support of several of the  campaign extensions.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Beginning this month, Nissan has started to release the all new electric car, the Nissan LEAF, now available for sale in five states. This all new, battery powered car is rated by the United States government as achieving a combined 99 miles per gallon, the highest fuel economy of any Nissan car yet. <p><strong>Although the LEAF is rated as achieving 99 miles per gallon by the U.S. government, the fuel economy of the car depends heavily on the status of the battery charge. The Environmental Protection Agency conducted its own test, and concluded that the Nissan LEAF only achieves a combined 73 miles per gallon, which is still impressive compared to other small cars on the market. Nissan has released the LEAF in December 2010 in five states including Washington, Oregon, California, Tennessee and Arizona. Next month, Nissan plans to release the LEAF in Texas and Hawaii, with other states to follow in the upcoming months in 2011.</strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The 2011 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) will feature  the largest Ford display in the world and the most engaging consumer  experience ever, including a specially created, elevated track for rides  in the all-new Focus Electric on the show stand.</p>
<p>The Ford  display will fill an expansive 71,700 square feet of space, more than a  typical NFL football field&#8217;s 57,600 square feet. The exhibit will  feature more than 75 vehicles and 22 interactive displays and an  unprecedented 67 product specialists will be on hand at all times to  answer questions about the company&#8217;s new products and technologies.<span id="more-401"></span></p>
<p><strong>&#8220;For several  years now, Ford has been driving the evolution of auto shows. We&#8217;ve  moved from one-way communication to full-blown two-way communication and  total engagement with visitors,&#8221; said <span>Jim Farley</span>,  Ford group vice president, Global Marketing, Sales and Service.  &#8220;Futuristic concept cars and simple narrations about products have been  augmented by or replaced with product interaction, hands-on technology  displays, conversations with knowledgeable hosts and even games that  help visitors understand how Ford is delivering smart, safe, green,  high-quality products to fit a wide range of needs.&#8221;</strong></p>
<p><strong>Vehicles to fit every need</strong></p>
<p>Underscoring  the theme of vehicles to fit every need, Ford will feature a broad  spectrum of new products at this year&#8217;s show. Just a few examples  include the all-new Ford Focus, Ford Explorer, Mustang Boss 302, Ford  C-MAX multi-activity vehicle and Ford F-150 with four all-new  powertrains.</p>
<p>A fundamental theme this year is fuel efficiency for everyone.</p>
<p>&#8220;This year&#8217;s  display emphasizes that fuel economy is no longer limited to a few  vehicles,&#8221; said Farley. &#8220;Ford is offering consumers real choices that  fit real-world needs by designing vehicles that use a variety of  fuel-efficient powertrains, such as Ford&#8217;s EcoBoost™ technology and our  new family of electrified vehicles.&#8221;</p>
<p>Ford will offer  a family of electric products, including hybrids, plug-in hybrids and  all-electric vehicles. To help consumers understand the differences  between the technologies and to showcase the company&#8217;s leadership in  electric vehicles, Ford created an innovative major attraction for the  show called &#8220;Living Electric.&#8221; Hands-on technology displays, digital  tutorials and conversations with experts will help people learn how the  different types of electric vehicles will fit various lifestyles.  Visitors can even take a ride in two electric vehicles – Focus Electric  and Transit Connect Electric – on an elevated track on the Ford stand  that is 20 feet high, stretches 208 feet in length and is 71 feet in  diameter.</p>
<p>In all areas of the Ford display, consumers will be entertained, informed <em>and</em> totally engaged.</p>
<p>For example,  visitors can play a live game show on their mobile phones while learning  about the new engines available for F-150. They can personalize a  Fiesta with a digital &#8220;spray can&#8221; and take home a print of their  creation while finding out about the fuel economy and safety leadership  of Ford&#8217;s new small car.</p>

<p><span>Mazda has dropped this fall to the RX-8 because of European rules on fuel consumption and emissions. </span><span>The Japanese currently working to develop a sports model to replace it. </span><span>This new technology will benefit the Rotary Sky, a new rotary engine will use 50% less than the current generation.<span id="more-378"></span></span></p>
<p><strong><span>One of the main rivals are the Volkswagen Scirocco. </span><span>Mazda said that to cope with competition, the new model could be fitted with an electric turbo. </span><span>New Mazda RX-9 could use Nagare design concept. </span></strong><span><strong>It is inspired by nature, especially wind and flowing water.</p>

<p>Confused.com has revealed that the Vauxhall Corsa(1) is the most popular first car for new drivers, in a top 10 entirely dominated by little hatchbacks. The research suggests most new drivers select vehicles of a smaller engine size with 20% choosing a modest 1.2 engine and 75% choosing engines of 1.4 or under.</p>
<p>New drivers tend to buy their first car using their own savings; with 40%(2) of those polled saying this was how they funded their new ride. A worrying 16% admit they took out a personal loan or credit card to afford the vehicle they wanted. A surprising number were sponsored by the Bank of mum &amp; dad with 14% admitting to this method of funding. Ladies had the most generous parents, being 3% more likely to be given a car than men, with spoilt first drivers mainly located in Wales, East Anglia &amp; London. <span id="more-64"></span></p>

<p>The choice of vehicle for new drivers suggests awareness that smaller, less powerful cars represent a smaller risk when it comes to car insurance, which is especially pertinent for new drivers who are deemed a much higher, and therefore more expensive, risk when it comes to the premiums they have to pay. A 17 year old girl selecting a first car would do well to note that a 1996 Vauxhall Corsa is more than £10003 cheaper to insure than 2006 VW Golf and almost £200 more could be shaved off by opting for Third Party Fire &amp; Theft cover. Smaller cars are also a lot cheaper to buy, which may also account for some of their popularity.</p>
<p>Will Thomas, head of car insurance quotes says &#8220;Corsa may well top the charts due to its status as a popular learner car but parents looking to buy a car for kids flying the nest to go to university this September would do well to remember these tips:</p>
